With this pathetic president, and the spiraling out-of-control budget crises we are faced with,?

what will happen with the price of gold? It looks like the price of oil is going to be de-coupled with the dollar. Only serious answers, please. With this pathetic president, and the spiraling out-of-control budget crises we are faced with,?
Pathetic is putting it mildly and very nice. The price of gold will increase. The dollar is going to keep falling in value, with all of the government spending and printing. Invest your money in gold and non parishable food. The dollar won't be worth the paper its printed on. Give Barack time. This country is in so much debt as it is and BO keeps spending, spending and spending. Cash for clunkers has me so TICKED. Cash incentive to purchase cars? 3 BILLION DOLLARS!!! People are laid off and their homes are being foreclosed on but we should put them into more debt by offering a few thousand to get rid of their old car so they have another payment that they can't make. This progam is just one example of many programs of STUPID Spending. I could go on for HOURS about this. With this pathetic president, and the spiraling out-of-control budget crises we are faced with,?
It will take some time for the dollar to quit being the currency upon which oil prices are based...there is talk of rotating it (oil price) among several other currencies. Which currencies I have no idea other than possibly the euro and the yen...what else is there?

Most likely gold will go up - it always does in times like this. But then to put a value on it, you are going to have to go with the currency oil is priced at.

Other nations such as India are not going to like converting their currency to euros rather than dollars - they will take a beating. The Asian nations are not going to like this either. The Middle East could probably care less - euros or dollars - they get paid for their oil. And as the dollar becomes worth less, the euro looks like the way to go.

Gold always rises in times of financial uncertainty. It has never been worth nothing (once people discovered how hard it was to get it) and it just depends on what type your gold might be. Coins, ingots, processed items such as a necklace...

A willing seller and a willing buyer = what do you use to complete the transaction? Surely not sheep and goats. I don't quite know how you can place a specific value on gold other than try to barter.

It is worth so much in dollars or yen or euros...that is all paper. When all currencies fail I guess we will go back to barter and obviously gold will become even more valuable.

Actually holding gold would be a good idea, I think. It almost has to go up a lot based on what the world economy is doing.
the real question is did we not foresee this coming.

I mean come on think about it look to our past we could have prevented this can't push all the blame on him, however you can call him na茂ve for trying to do all the things that needed to be done during the time that our country is screwed financially.

This out-of-control budget crisis involves securing the future for our children yet it is not going to do well for ourselves in the near future.

do you not think a man does not have economic strategists, philosophers, mathematicians, or any other kind of applied sciences which he deems useful at time within his staffing.

We have aircraft that we've spent nearly $1 trillion on with money that no one will ever know was gone.

We are faced with an even bigger monster now, it is no longer just the United States would have to take accountability for the entire world economy has to remain stable in order for us to remain stable in a sense.

People neglect to realize that money is just a concept, it's only physical manifestation as pieces of paper with pictures on them that we have been told is worth something when in all actuality it means absolutely nothing beyond what we are influenced to believe it is.

I do agree though something needs to be done to accommodate the people of our nation whom like myself have been rendered unemployed are going through crisis.

But the first monarch Constitution does not say he the president, It says we the people and it is up to us to make a change. It is his job as our ';leader'; to speak for us as a whole and conduct himself in the favor of the majority of the people and in the peoples best interests.

i don't presume to tell people who is right and who is wrong but to give him a little credit he walked into this behind someone with a 33% approval rating funding $1 billion dollar a day war with our taxpayer money.

I don't make my opinion based upon the party line color of skin

a persons religion or any other factors beyond the fact that they are American like myself.

I think it's time that some of the super wealthy in America put some of that money back into America to give back and support the country that has supported them all these years.

I guess the greed human nature will never allow that to happen.
the world would have to think , as opposed to the hysterical american right there is a crises. As no one else other than the hysterics do godl will remain stable

Oil will go up as the economy get better, it will go down as teh economy gets worse, its a trading commidity
Gold is going to increase in value, at least against the dollar. The US dollar is falling in value.
I will not take your question seriously. If you think our current president is ';pathetic'; then you're not worth my time.
i know gosh, who knows
