Ok...my face gets really shiny as the day goes on..whats the best way to control it?

its soo annoying to have to keep looking in the mirror constantly to see if its shiny or not...plz help!!Ok...my face gets really shiny as the day goes on..whats the best way to control it?
the body shop sells a great tea tree line for oily skin. They have these little oil blotting sheets that work great and a mattifying moisture gel that gets rid of the shine throughout the dayOk...my face gets really shiny as the day goes on..whats the best way to control it?
Well, for starters you might want to use an oil-controlling moisturizer underneath your foundation. Secondly you can dab your face with an oil-control film and/or powder your face with face powder to remove access shine several times a day.
Body shop face blotting papers. They come in a wee booklet and you just blot them on your face when you get shiny. I used to use them.

Alternitavly you can embrace your natural self and go for a 'dewy' look - much more attractive then a caked on plastered dry look!
first, you can include a trusty oil control facial wash and moisturiser into your daily skincare products to control your facial sebum production. frequent usage of sebum controlling masks helps too.

next, carry an oil blotter with your wherever you go. you dont have to look into a mirror to blot your face when you feel like it. lastly, if you wear make up, you can get a mattifying cream and apply it as a base before you apply foundation. it'll help to keep your face matte throughout the day. as i'm experiencing oily t-zone, i'm using It's In Bloom T-Zone Matte Cream by The Face Shop. works fine for me.
they have these strips which you can buy which soak up the oil. you can find it in your drugstore.
before you put any foundation or powder on, blot some of BeneFit's Dr Feelgood on your oily bits. i swear by the stuff and won't leave the house without it. my skin gets incredibly oily and this is the best oil control product ever!!

its a wax like formula and it just blots on your skin with the sponge provided, the little tin lasts months

and it really does work, i've recommended it to colleagues and they love it as much as me now
use neutrogena. that stuff works the best!
If you wear makeup, before you apply you can use a mattifying powder or use matte makeup. Also try using cleansing products that are made to address oily skin. I swear by Neutrogena's line of oily skin products. I also keep a pack of Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil Absorbing Tissues in my purse for quick shine control throughout the day. Whatever you do, try not to reapply powder on top of oily skin, it tends to look cakey.
Keep some oil-blotting sheets with you in your purse. Sold in most stores (such as walmart probably) in the cosmetic isles I think.
There are some strips by clear and clear, that helps control your face from looking shiny
Blotting papers, they are used to apply or dab onto your face different times throughout the day and they absorb any excess oils produced by your skin without interfering with your makeup. I heard there are Sheer Cover brands that you can order, not sure if you have to buy a full regimen set to get them but they may be worth it.
Shine on you crazy Diamond.
1. in the morning use the Tea Tree green oil from Bath %26amp; Body Works about $8

2. use covergirl foundation powder

3. keep blotting sheeta in your purse

4. drink lots of water
Well a good skin care routine is important and if you are already doing that then you can add an oil mattifier or use oil blotter tissues.
Biore Shine Control.

Maybe that will help.

Or, if there is a Nordstom Rack where you live, there are rice papers and you dab the papers on to your shiny spots as the day goes by.. I never tried and but maybe tht works for you.
MAC Blot Powder... Perfect for touch ups and it does not dry your skin. I have had no luck with blot papers. Good luck!
Use a matt foundation , Clinique Products are the best they are all formulated for skin problems, they will also advise on a skin care plan for you.
Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets. They dry up the oil with out smudging make up. U can reuse them too! They work AWESOME!!!!
loose powder, works every time or blotting strips
Ok, try using very little makeup, and wash your face with a cleanser once in the morning when you wake up, and once before you sleep. Also do that in the shower.
plz explain... how does your face get shiny? do u have like a diesease or something? Oh wait... is it a perspiration problem? I know I'm supposed to be answering but this is weird and different so plz get back to me.
got to a drug sotre and buy face-blotting tissues that are made esppecially for that purpose. if not but makeup that is oil absorbing and talc free and also has shine control
