i think it depends on the girl and her beliefs. i know some people who believe that once such a thing happens, that's it. it SHOULD be over. There are some who believe in second chances and things worked out and the guy never lost control again. It depends on the guy. in what context did he slap you? is he easily angered? and if he did it again, would you have the strength to tell him it's over? if it became an abusive relationship- would you have someone to turn to?
