Well, first of all, if this is a new-ish problem and you don't know the cause, you should go to your doctor, who might refer you to a ob/gyn or an endocrinologist. There could be various causes, but PCOS is one of the likely ones. It is important to find the cause, they might put you on medication to prevent the situation from getting worse.

As for the problem itself, there is no easy answer. Creams like Nair can irritate your skin if it's sensitive (even the kind made for the face). Even if you can use it on your legs, the skin on your face is different. Test it first by putting in on a small area of your face. Waxing is painful and you have to let the hair grow out alittle before you can wax it off. Maybe it would be good to get that done at a salon the first time, and maybe then you can try doing it on your own with a home kit later. If it's very small, fine hair that is just dark, bleaching will help make it less noticable. Electrolysis is an option, but it's painful and it takes a long time (several sessions, you'd be going for awhile), but I knew someone (a guy, in fact!) who got it done and they said it seemed to have a permanent result. That might be good if you only have a small area that needs work. Laser, from what I hear, is mostly permanent, but only works well on certain hair and skin types. Be sure to find someone who has alot of experience and a good reputation. Don't just go to anybody. Try to find a good doctor who is certified to do laser treatment. I've seen stories on tv of people who got bad permanent scars from laser treatment. It's also very expensive. Some places offer a free consultation where they can tell you more about it and they can look at your situation and tell you whether they think you'll be a good canidate for that sort of treatment. There is also a cream you can get called Vaniqa. If you use it as recommended, supposedly it will help reduce the appearance of unwanted hair. This is available by prescription from your doctor. And then, the last resort is the razor, which won't help you much for very long, and unfortunately, it does grow back in a more noticeable way.

It's very nice for all of these people to say ';stay as you are.'; But some of them might not understand how much having a problem like this impacts your life socially (or if they do understand, maybe they've learned to accept things as they are, which doesn't come right away for most people). Especially if you're in your teens (when people are at their most self-conscious and their peers are tend to be the most cruel). You do what is right for you in order to be happy.

You might find this article interesting and informative. It's a woman's diary of getting the legs/bikini area laser-treated, but it will give you an idea of what to expect, about how much it costs and how to prepare.

you should consult your doctor.
It is better to go for laser treatment but be sure it is expensive.

But this treatment may take long time(even 2 years) %26amp; it depends on ur hair growth.

It may take even 20-25 sittings but remember this is permanent solution to ur problem.

Don't go for any bleechings or any hair removel creams .
if you do laser it's very expensive, and you have to go several times before it's gone. if you shave it the hair will become course like a mans beard. if i were you i would either use nair or neet or i would have it waxed at the salon.
you can use nair its great with hair removal dont use a razor because it will grow back thicker and if you can accidently cut yourself
Laser treatment is the best way to go. It is very expensive and you need to go several times probably 4 times. But it is the best treatment. Hair will not grow back. It is also painful, but you can use emla cream to numb the area.
you better bleach your face every 10 th day and use tweesers for any dark hair and try out treading every month
Why not be Sweetu instead of trying to be like everybody else? You're fine as you are!
I've always been attracted to women with lip down, I just have no idea why they would want to remove it.
To laser it, the hair has to be dark. Best bet is wax.
well you could get your lip waxed.
i may not be the best person to help u out......but accordin 2 me the best way would be simply to remove it wit a razor........
just wax your upper lip and lower lip, dont ever consider laser treatment

:)
Don't worry to much about it, because you have to live with it.
