Mr. Pansy Poop Face just reported my great pyr to animal control?

He chose memorial day to tell us off in his army uniform like we were some vietcong. Gawd what an old fart!!!

Well i am really scared for my dog. I don't want him to be taken away, or worse, poisoned. I just don't know what to do. Bark collars don't work because they make his neck bleed, or at least make his throat reddish and very sensitive. Muzzles don't work because they make him depressed, and i end up removing it 30 minutes later and we are back to square one. He is pretty rambunctious i admit, but that's why i love him, and a little dumb too while we are at it. So what should it do i just don't know what to do anymoreMr. Pansy Poop Face just reported my great pyr to animal control?
What was he reported for?Mr. Pansy Poop Face just reported my great pyr to animal control?
Well perhaps Mr. Pansy Poop Face had a decent enough reason for reporting you. You should be controlling your dog better. Muzzles and Bark Collars? Clearly you've attempted only the easiest methods to try and as usual the easiest way is not generally the best or most effective. Quit being lazy and quit neglecting your dog. Go outside and work with it. If your mom was so opposed to allowing the dog to be a member of the family like it should be then why did you get a dog in the first place? Neglectful on your part. I side with Mr. Pansy Poop Face on this one.
Pyrs are barkers by nature and require LOTS of exercise so tire him out then bring him inside. You bought a dog bred to run hours a day in an open area so run him for at least 60 mins a day.
Try the bark detterent.

It is a little house that lets out a high pitched sound that stops the dogs bark.

if your dog has a lot of drive it may not stop it completley but will reduce the barking. buy it at walmart.

bring your dog indoors more often. buy a dog crate.
I think your dog is just too spoiled. There are ways to control him barking. Try Cesar Milan's shows. They usually work for big dogs.
awwww :(( thts sad well, i dunno, maybe ask your vet.
What?

Please rephrase?
Your dog cannot be taken away from you just because of barking..only if it has attacked someone or if it is improperly taken care of-but you don't seem like those would apply to you. Just try to work with him on stopping the barking. Hopefully the guy wouldn't poison him...that happened twice to one of our dogs-poisoned with anti freeze TWICE because someone kept trying to kill him so they could break in, but they failed. Good luck and hopefully all goes well
Is your dog barking? If that's the case then you need to train your dog not to bark inappropriately. The best way that I have found includes exercising the dog as well as obedience training. Pyrs are a working breed and they need a job. You might want to keep him inside during the times that your neighbor is around. Trying to get along with your neighbor might help take the pressure off of you too. Training this dog not to bark (if that's what the problem is) works in your dog's best interest. Barking dogs can get their owner's big fines or worse.
Have you tried training your dog? Bark collars and muzzles don't train your dog for you, they only mask the problem. Find a trainer who can work with you on the issues you have with your dog.

Not training your dog hasn't worked, maybe you should try training.
Get a can and fill it with coins. Every time he barks shake the can until he stops barking. Once he is calm, praise him.

Or when he's barking, spray him with the hose. Probably not the best solution but you might lose your dog! Try it! It actually might not work if he likes the water though so..

Have you tried obedience training? They offer pretty good training at petco and petsmart. You should've spent your money on that before the bark collars and muzzles.
