Is this a good skincare routinue?I have a few pimples on my face. Don't recomend proactiveClean and clear shine control morning burst in the morning and wash face with regular soap at night ?
Regular soap is never a good idea! It will dry your skin out, and in return, your oil glands will go into hyper mode to get your skin moisturized again! So, use a facial cleanser morning and night, and always follow with a water based moisturizer. That way, your face is clean, and moisturized, so the oil glands won't work so hard, and in return- less acne!! Try Neutrogena facial cleansers. They leave oily, acne prone skin feeling fresh and clean.Clean and clear shine control morning burst in the morning and wash face with regular soap at night ?
First things first, if the regular soap ure speaking about are those bar soaps. Stop. Drop. and dont go back! Regular bar soaps are for your hands and body, thus its very harsh on your face and is probably contributing to the regular acne.
The clean and clear is a good start, if you think that product works for you and it does help control shine and acne, then use it!
If you want to help treat the acne, try finding products with about 2-5% salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in it.. those are the ingredients that most acne treating products contain.
I personally think the clean and clear isnt that great. It didnt clear up too much of my acne and it kind of dried out my skin.
I would suggest vichy normaderm...the gel face wash...and the on the spot pimple controller...yes I have to say its a bit pricy, but lemme just say it works!, get it on sale and just give it a try.
(just one tip, the vichy might make you break out on the first few weeks of use, but it heals it right back after that few weeks)
Try using the same facewash day and night for about 3 months, most products are put to their best use when you use it for at least that long of a period of time. If you just use it for a week and think it didnt work, then you're thinking wrong.
Finally, try incorporating a moisturizer in your routine! Washing is great, but even oily skin types needs moisture. Invest in a good one!
hope this helps :)
Clean and clear didn't work for me, but it might for you.
regular soap might dry you out.
