How do I control a shiny face?

its not terrible, but my t-zone gets shiny. I need some inexpensive ideas for helping this? How do I control a shiny face?
I use Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Cleanser %26amp; Moisturizer - it does seem to help control shine throughout the day. Also try apply powder on your t-zone throughout the day to help control the shine. Clean %26amp; Clear also makes oil blotting sheets that work great. How do I control a shiny face?
I use a face primer or an oil mattifier. But good old fashion powder works well.
if you use makeup, pick up a matte version of whatever foundation you are using, these have ingredients that help keep the skin dry. Use a pressed powder instead of loose and avoid cream cosmetics. The best and easiest thing I like are these clean and clear oil sheets, they are like 4 bucks for a pack of 50 and you just blot them on your face, you can feel the difference, it's like you just washed.
wash ur face regularily with a good cleanser and avoid oily/cheesy food! and drink lots of water!

I have the same problem and its a lot under control since I started to use a home made face pack of powdered and dried orange skin and wheat flour! hope this helps!
Use Mark's Powder-Matic makeup. It comes in shades that match every skin tone, comes in a mirrored click compact and ELIMINATES shine. I use it and I can't even tell I ahve it on, except for my face looks amazing.
A shiny face is usually caused by oil in the face. A great product that will get rid of the shine and oil and make your face feel fresh again is Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. These can be found at drugstores like CVS, Excerd, and definitly Harmon's, where I got mine.

They remove excess oil and remove shine, and the sheet slightly changes color to show how much oil was taken off your face. They're a really soft product, and I love them! They really do help, and when your done it neat (but gross!) to see how much oil was really on your face.. and that could have been blemishes!! Also, if you wear foundation of makeup, these WON'T remove it. A definite need for me!!

So remeber, these are inexpensive! They're found at drugstores and are absolutely amazing for your face.

Get rid of that shine, and let your skin breathe with these, trust me, it's a definite need!!
baby wipes
baby powder
Try an oil-free acne wash. This way, you can prevent breakouts, while you won't have to worry about excess oil from the facial wash. Clean %26amp; Clear makes really effective washes, like Morning Burst. They also make oil-absorbing sheets, which you can keep with you to blot off oil at anytime. Hope this helps! :-D
Clean and Clear has Oil Blotting sheets. They dont smudge your makeup, and you can see how much oil you've wiped off. You can get them at most drugstores. At Wallgreens, they're about 2 bucks.

hope this helped!

even though somebody's probably already said it... i didnt read all the responses lol

Mineral make up can cut down the shine a lot. I have a very shiny face and it look sgreat when I wear Mineral Girlz.
Use a line of facial care products made for oily or normal/oily skin. For oily, I like the Body Shop's tea tree line, but if just your t-zone is oily, use their seaweed line (it smells surprisingly good). Cleanse, tone, moisturize every day, and mask once or twice a week.

Use oil-free makeup, and use a loose translucent powder to keep shine down. Bare Minerals is a wonderful line, and even if you don't use their foundation, the mineral veil works wonders against shine. It's $25 for a big size container that lasts several months.

Also use oil blotting sheets, from the Body shop or Clean %26amp; Clear.
powder makeup, oil blotting sheets
If you crack open one or two eggs and keep only the egg-whites, you can rub it over your face like a mask. It's very soothing and gentle to your skin, but it effectively removes oil and your skin is firm and radiant.
buy nivea visage young.
I have the same problem as you. I use Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser in the morning and when I get home from school I use oil blotting sheets (any brand is fine). I haven't tried the Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Cleanser yet, but after I finish using the Morning Burst Facial Cleanser I will. Don't wash your face more than 2 to 3 times a day, because the more oil you get rid of, the more your skin wants to make come back. Simply using oil blotting sheets and washing your face a few times a day can take care of it if you just have some shine. I also have some acne here and there around my T-zone area, so I do use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (10% was way too strong for my skin). It's not made for shine control, but amazing if you apply it to where your T-zone gets shiny, the shine automatically goes away. It's longer lasting than facial cleansers and oil blotting sheets. Hope this helps =).
